How it works

From Sunday's sermon to something you can search on Monday.

You add the sermon. Sermount writes the transcript, makes it searchable and drafts the week's writing. Every sermon you add makes the archive more useful.

01

Add a sermon

Upload the audio or video file, paste the YouTube link, or bring a transcript you already have as an SRT file. For a YouTube link you can set where the sermon starts and ends, so the welcome and announcements stay out.

Say who preached it, when, and which series it belongs to.

Sermount writes the transcript

Every word, with the time it was said. If a name or a word comes out wrong, fix that line by hand.

Download the transcript as SRT for captions, or as plain text.

30:41Martha goes out to meet him on the road. Mary stays in the house.
30:52Two sisters, the same grief, two completely different ways of carrying it.
31:02Jesus knew Lazarus would walk out of that tomb, and he wept anyway.
31:10Don't let anyone hurry your tears.

03

Search everything you've preached

Ask the archive in plain words, the way you'd ask a colleague. Put a phrase in quotes to find those exact words. Narrow it to one speaker when you need to.

Results show the line itself and the moment it was said. Open the transcript right there, or copy the excerpt. Click a timecode to go to that moment in the sermon, and play it inside Sermount with the transcript following along.

Make the week's writing

Each sermon gives you a set of drafts to edit, grouped the way a church office works:

Comms
Blog, Newsletter, Sermon Brief
Social
Reels, Quotes, Carousels, Anchor Moments
Discipleship
Small Group, Devotionals

Reels are the moments worth clipping, with their start and end times. Quote cards and carousels use your church's fonts and colours. Edit anything, then download it as a Word document or PDF.

Questions for this week

  1. Martha ran to Jesus and Mary stayed home. Which one sounds more like you when you're grieving?
  2. Jesus knew how the story would end and wept anyway. What does that say about your own tears?
  3. Who in your life has sat with you without trying to fix it?

Speaker Intelligence

Every output sounds like the speaker.

Churches have more than one voice. Your senior pastor, the youth pastor, the guest who preached in November. Sermount writes each sermon's newsletter, small-group guide and devotional in the voice of whoever preached it.

So the newsletter after a guest Sunday sounds like the guest. The week after, it sounds like your pastor again.

Real talk: Paul says he learned to be content. Learned. Nobody is born chill about not having stuff.

Today, notice one thing you keep wanting. Don't fight it. Just hand it to God and see what's left.

DevotionalPastor Dan Okafor

Paul wrote these words from a prison cell, which tells us contentment was never about the room he was in.

Read Philippians 4:11-13 slowly this morning. Where have you been waiting for circumstances to change before you rest?

Collections and plans

Group sermons into a Study Collection and Sermount writes a study guide or a devotional across all of them. Media Plans lay out a run of social posts on one topic, drawn from the Anchor Moments in your archive.

Your team

Speakers and staff

Add every speaker who preaches, guests included, and archive the ones who move on. Invite staff with a link as editors, while one admin looks after the account, so the whole office works from one archive.

See it with your own sermons.
